Shawn Carney condemns Dems for voting against Born Alive Act: ‘What’s wrong with these people?’

40 Days for Life CEO and President Shawn Carney says it’s appalling nearly all House Democrats voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. “This just goes beyond politics,” Carney says. “This isn’t like healthcare, or do we invade Iraq or not, or Big Pharma. This is basic decency. What’s wrong with these people?” The bill would ensure infants who survive an abortion receive appropriate medical care and legally penalizes healthcare practitioners who refuse to care for the infants.
