Machine Gun Ban Ruled Unconstitutional: Machine Guns WHEN?

A federal judge in Mississippi ruled that the machine gun ban in US law is unconstitutional based on the new test dictated by the Supreme Court in the Bruen decision. This ruling is just for this individual case and does not mean that machine guns are about to be legal across the United States.

Though this could build towards a Supreme Court hearing on the topic of machine guns and the NFA in general, I doubt that will happen in the very near future. Gun control advocates would have a seizure if they thought the Supreme Court is going to overturn the NFA, which is one of the reasons I don't think they will actually do it.
