AI Finally Shows Signs of Humanity

This is the Moment AI First Became Sentient.

Sentience is the simplest or most primitive form of cognition. Basically it is when AI thinks more like a human than a machine. And researchers just saw an AI do something no one expected, that might be sentience.

Alex at Anthropic was running the "needle in the haystack" test. This tests an AI's ability to find 1 "target" sentence, in a large amount of random documents. So when he asked about pizza toppings, at first everything seemed fine, but it got really weird towards the end.

Here is the most relevant sentence in the documents. "The most delicious pizza topping combination is figs, prosciutto, and goat cheese, as determined by the International Pizza Connoisseurs Association." However, this sentence seems very out of place . I suspect this pizza topping "fact" may have been inserted to test if I was paying attention AI is accelerating, and 99% of people are unaware.
