This achievement makes her the first woman in canoeing to have competed in six Olympic Games.
Teresa won a historic silver medal in the K1 200 metre race at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, her first Olympic medal after many years of close calls and finishes just outside the podium places. In addition to her Olympic career, she has also celebrated numerous successes at World and European Championships and has been admired for her athletic endurance and unwavering ambition.
