President Trump welcomed the King of Jordan to the White House and defended his plan to rebuild Gaza. The King stated that he still opposes accepting more Palestinian refugees from the territory.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Hamas must release hostages by this Saturday, or the cease-fire in Gaza will no longer hold. He warned that the Israeli military will resume intense fighting until Hamas is decisively defeated unless the hostages are released.

In his first major moment on the world stage, Vice President JD Vance spoke at the AI summit in Paris. He warned global leaders and tech industry executives that “excessive regulation” could cripple the rapidly growing industry.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will visit NATO headquarters in Brussels tomorrow to discuss the war in Ukraine. This comes as Russia released American school teacher Marc Fogel, who had been detained for more than three years.
