Does testosterone cause prostate cancer?

I'm sure by now you've been told that testosterone causes (insert ANYTHING).

I'm not even joking. I've had other providers tell our patients that testosterone causes or has caused the following:

*Suicide
*Cancer (ANY)
*Heart attacks
*Depression
*Strokes
*Blood clots
*Divorce
*Psychosis
*Headaches
*Ok, I'll stop there.

We can't count the number of different diagnoses that were the result of testosterone per other providers.

But, in today's installment, we will discuss the age-old prostate cancer myth.
