Man Is Doing Barbell Squats On A Seesaw

This video was taken in Ufa, Russia in September of this year, 2018. The man in this video is none other than the very impressive Sadykov, who is a Russian “fitness professional.” He states that this video was taken inside the gym in the city he resides in, where he performs incredibly difficult squats with a barbell that weighs 100 kg. He performs ten squats, but the most impressive part is what we see at the bottom of the screen concerning his lower body. Are you shocked yet?

This man is balancing on a see-saw type contraption! It is difficult enough as it is to perform these squats alone with this kind of weight, and there are few people in the world who can even do that. When you add the obstacle of balancing on this very unsteady object, which looks to be just a board and a rolling pin, the task becomes exponentially more difficult.

Balancing on such an object that is not sturdy is extremely difficult for many people. Some do not realize how poor their balancing skills actually are until they try to put them to use. Then they end up falling and realizing that they are not as coordinated as they may have imagined that they were. This man has obviously had extensive training and practice with balancing techniques. It is important for a professional athletes of any kind to have high agility skills so that they can perform at the highest possible level. Having just brute strength will not get anyone to the top spot on any chart with any sport. All athletes need variety in their skills.

This is what will push them to the top of their game. This is also why many American professional athletes will choose to train in many different sports through their early careers. These people do not just focus on one skill, even if the sport may seem to be somewhat limited. The man in this video is the perfect example of this idea. He has not only honed his lifting skills, but he has also honed his balancing skills and his stamina. These are all necessary skills to acquire for anyone who wants to be any kind of professional fitness individual like Sadykov.

One of the main reasons that athletes do need all of these diverse skills is to help avoid injury. Watching the performance in this video shows viewers exactly what type of possible risks an athlete can encounter. With activities like this one where the individual is having to engage pretty much their entire body, they have to be super physically fit, and the must be extremely focused on their skills. Most amateur athletes would not be able to perform this type of feat and have the ability to focus on so many muscle groups at one time. Most would more than likely have a fairly serious fall only a few seconds into this activity. Obviously, the man in the video has trained hard for this very moment.
