CCTV captures heartwarming moment a baby giraffe is born

This is the heartwarming moment CCTV captured the birth of a male giraffe – who measures a towering SIX FEET in height. The adorable 58kg (9st) calf struggled to his feet before his doting mum used her long neck to support him as he made his first steps. Keepers at West Midlands Safari Park filmed the birth of the Rothschild giraffe who was born at 5.45pm on October 3. Proud mum Arusha, who had a 15-month pregnancy, was filmed lovingly helping her new offspring to his feet an hour after the birth.
