Fallen Hero Officer Jonah Hernandez – The Story You Didn't Hear

Officer Jonah Hernandez of the Las Cruces Police Department was tragically killed while responding to a trespassing call on February 11, 2024. While much of the country watched the Super Bowl, this brave officer made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Hernandez was attacked and fatally stabbed by a repeat violent offender, Armando Silva. Fortunately, a heroic citizen stepped in, exercising his Second Amendment rights to prevent further loss of life.

This is yet another heartbreaking example of the dangers police officers face daily and the failures of the justice system that allow repeat criminals back onto the streets. Please watch, share, and help honor the memory of Officer Hernandez.
