Pressing & Accessories

As a dedicated preparatory movement I did an unbroken minute of banded triceps pushdowns with my Westside Barbell Red Mini Band to get blood in my elbows

My primary pressing movement was incline dumbbell press. I did 5x total sets in the 5-7 rep range, 1-2 RIR

For my first accessory I the. Did 5x sets on the Lifefitness Seated Machine Lateral Raise. These were in the 10+ rep range starting at 0-1 RIR the first few sets with the last being yo concentric failure

last, as a secondary pressing movement I did regular @$$ pushups. Always a great exercise by itself, it becomes even more robustly stimulative on the tail end of any chest/shoulder/tricep related session. I did 5x sets in the 20+ rep range, starting at 1-2 RIR and finishing the last set at concentric failure
