Firefighter DISABLED After Serving In A Hotshot Crew Gets A FREE Lawn Cleanup

I was contacted by a homeowner who was looking for a lawn mowing service provider for the year. She told me that she yard was a bit tall and was willing to pay extra to get everything restored. I told her about what I do and that the initial mow would be free. She thanked me and told me that she had been recently disabled from an injury at her job.

During the cleanup, I noticed firefighter design license plates on her black truck. I asked her after the service if she was a retired firefighter. She told me that she had been on a hotshot crew and something medically, I think, caused her to step away.

I am truly grateful for all of our firefighters who not only risk their health but also their lives to save others. Thank you for your service!
