The Leuchter Report: A Discredited Attempt to Deny the Holocaust

Fred Leuchter, an American execution technician, authored "The Leuchter Report" in 1988, claiming that the gas chambers at Auschwitz were not used for mass extermination and that the crematoria lacked the capacity to handle the number of corpses reported. However, his methodology and conclusions have been thoroughly debunked and discredited by experts. Leuchter lacked formal training in chemistry or toxicology, and his sampling methods were flawed. Subsequent analyses have confirmed the presence of cyanide residues in the gas chambers, consistent with their use in mass killings during the Holocaust.
