How Tall Was Goliath? | Episode 4 of Part 2: Goliath

One of Goliath’s most notable attributes is his tall height. In the fourth episode of Part 2: Goliath in the “David & The Giants” series, Michael Lane invites us to explore what the Bible says about Goliath’s considerable stature. According to the ESV Bible (English Standard Version), the intimidating warrior stood at about 3.14 meters, or 11 feet 2 inches. In light of this height stated in the ESV, Goliath is described to stand at a different height in other Bible translations. Thus, this lesson unpacks logic to add support to Goliath’s true height.
