Trump’s Trade Policies: Tariffs, and Global Market Manipulation
Amid media efforts to instill fear about government cuts, Trump reassures Americans that their payments and checks won’t be affected. Meanwhile, he is pushing back against global trade imbalances, emphasizing the need for tariffs on steel and aluminum to protect U.S. industries from unfair competition. Trump’s stance aims to prevent countries from dumping cheap goods into the U.S. market, which cannot compete. Additionally, Trump continues to challenge China’s trade practices, particularly their nearshoring strategies to bypass U.S. tariffs. Japan’s interest in the U.S. steel market highlights the growing concern over cheap Chinese imports. Trump’s hardline approach aims to shift the balance in global trade, signaling continued engagement with China amid an escalating trade war.
The media is trying to install fear. No one is trying to cut anything or take anything from the American people. No one will stop your checks or your payments. We talked about false social security numbers and illegals getting funding. Once the numbers are broadcasted of the fraud inside the social security administration there will not be any fear and the midterms will not be affected.
The free market should not dictate wages. Trump imposes 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum. We watched the steel industry change. But what we can’t compete with worldwide is the cost of living in other countries and we can’t allow these countries to dump their cheap products into our country. We need to have free trade within the borders of the US. but anything that comes into the county needs to come into the county for a balance of competition. But not dumping the trash in this county with no way to compete. For the most part a lot of countries do not allow US products on their shelves.
Trump knows how to make their heads explode. Canada is not interested in being the 51st state, BKP believes that is code word to Canada as a reminder that the US can control you and can bankrupt you.
China’s steel always makes it into this country second hand. China is not looking for investment in the US in the way we would welcome it. China is not our ally. China has looked to Mexico, South America, and Panama to invest to dump their products into our county without tariffs by nearshoring. They have been investing in that for years. Trump is saying you are going to stop dumping into this country, we are not a landfill for your garbage. Trump has spoken to Xi since inauguration signalling continued diplomatic engagement amid escalating trade war.
Japan’s Nippon Steel says the US Steel deal is more crucial amid uncertain tariffs. Japan is asking if we should invest in US Steel and how do we protect against the cheap Chinese steel. Trump is balancing the markets worldwide.
