Tragically Stupid News Update, with a Side of Snarky Thought of the Day: American Healthcare

I tried to walk a fine line here.

It is nothing short of tragic, what happened to this kid.

At the same time, my anger at the system is, in part, directed toward the man himself. He went a full week without medical treatment, and I don’t know whether or not he researched options other than his go-to pharmacy.

Personally, my family stopped using Walgreens years ago.

We did a little price shopping, and they were at the top of the profit zone every single time.

You’d think word would get out, but it doesn’t seem to, because they’re still in business.

Not thriving, according to the fact they keep shuttering stores, but they’re still around.

Anyway, my entire life, politicians have been talking about fixing health care.

Obama gave it a shot, and… Well, I guess the ACA was the best he could get at the time.

Biden lowered and capped certain costs, but the next president signed and executive order halting that.

Wonder why.
