Birds might appear to some as strange pets to have. They aren’t one of the first things you think of when someone talks about household pets, that usually goes to cats and dogs. Most of the things you expect to do with a pet, you can’t do with a pet bird. Some things that come to mind are cuddling your animal or holding it, playing fetch, and walking it. Birds usually stay in their cage and although you can rub their head or pat them, you can’t really cuddle them and hold them like you would a dog or cat.
