DISNEY Backpedals on DEI Following Series of Flops and Changing Politics

Disney appears to be backpedaling on the company’s push for more DEI according to new SEC filings that shows prior initiatives are absent.

This is a dramatic shift in what we have seen from Disney these last several years, but it’s possible Disney has learned from their flops that audiences are not interested in such content. However, we know some companies have quietly tried to rebrand DEI departments because they understand it’s toxic to consumers, but the higher ups are true believers. We don’t know which category Disney falls under, but seeing as how we have instances of the company toning down DEI from their movies it is possible this effort is sincere.
