Law enforcement reminds riders to stay off rails

Operation Lifesaver is an annual enforcement event involving Michigan State Police, the DNR, and the Otsego and Crawford County Sheriff's Offices. They teamed up Saturday to patrol about 30 miles of train tracks to make sure snowmobilers stay safe and obey the law. Operation Lifesaver focuses on educating people to stay off the tracks and reduce rail tragedies. This year two tickets were issued for trespassing. David Barr Michigan News Source.
