"18-month-old Evelyn Boswell was found suffocated inside a trash can placed inside a playhouse that her mother, Megan Boswell, had played in as a child. The toddler was tightly wrapped in a fleece blanket, then covered in aluminum foil, and placed upside down inside a trash bag, which was shoved into a trash can with such force that her head was pushed back against her back. Evelyn’s body was contorted into a distorted fetal position, and her facial features were severely flattened. Evelyn was reported missing in February 2020, and her remains were discovered a month later on property owned by her maternal grandfather. While the exact time of her death and disposal remains unclear, the paternal grandfather told authorities he hadn't seen her since November 2019. The trial surrounding her death is currently underway."
