Wisconsin's First Home for Displaced LGBTQ+ Youth
The mission of Courage MKE is to fuel a collaborative movement to provide the resources LGBTQ+ youth need to thrive. This past February, Courage MKE purchased property on Milwaukee's south side that will soon be Wisconsin's first home for displaced LGBTQ+ youth. Joining us to discuss the organization, the new property, and couple of fundraising events coming up are Brad Schlaikowski and Lisa Kimczak. To honor the 20th anniversary of Matthew Shepard's death, Courage MKE is presenting a one night only production of the Laramie Project on October 29 at 7:20pm at the Broadway Theatre Center. They are also hosing their Annual Gala on November 4 at 6pm at 1451 Renaissance Place in Milwaukee. For more information on Courage MKE, visit CourageMKE.org.
