God Is In Control

“O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:33-36

The world today is in turmoil, and one could easily get upset about it all and become unsettled. But amidst all the turmoil, there is good news! God is in control, and He is working all things together for good.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

Our great God is absolutely in control, and He directs the steps of every man. There is nothing that man can do but that which God has ordained from the beginning. So if you think the tyrants of this world can derail or alter His purpose, or in any way cause God’s plan to fail, think again! God has the heart of each and every one of them in His hand, just as it was with Nebuchadnezzar, Pharaoh and every other world leader throughout history.

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.” Psalms 75:6-7

God is above all, and He controls the world scene and all world leaders today. There is nothing they can do but that which He has ordained. And since we know that God is working all things together for good for those who are His called, what have we to fear?

If God be for us, who can be against us? He would not take us this far just to abandon us! Hold on, dear reader! It may be a rough ride, but no matter what happens and no matter what evil men do, God has everything under control. Everything will be alright in the end. We have His Word. Trust Him.
