Ed Sheeran Does A Surprise Concert In Streets Of Bangalore, India… Only To Have A Cop Pull The Plug

Posted • February 10, 2025: British singer Ed Sheeran surprised his fans in Bengaluru on an early Sunday morning when he took the footpath for an impromptu performance on Church Street. In town to perform at the scheduled concert, the singer showed up without a word, instantly gathering a large crowd of eager onlookers. However, the unanticipated performance was cut short as Bengaluru Police intervened. The officers, who did not know who Sheeran was, asked him to stop, stating that he hadn’t taken all the necessary permissions for the street performance. One of the officers was seen in a viral video unplugging Sheeran’s microphone while he was still singing.
