THUNDERBOLTS* Super Bowl Trailer is Not Terrible or Great

Marvel Studios released another trailer for their new film, Thunderbolts* and the reaction online is mostly positive, or at least not overly negative.

Marvel has had a difficult time in recent years with their MCU movies that culminated in the embarrassing flop of The Marvels. Since then, Marvel has seemed to be trying to course correct and return to the early days of the MCU. The biggest hurdle for Thunderbolts is that Marvel can’t ride its brand to success like they used to. This means they need to rely on the characters in order to drive audiences and Thunderbolts may not have that.
