An easy Chocolate cake starting with a Box Mix and topped with Homemade Peanut Butter Frosting
CHOCOLATE CAKE
15.25 ounce Devil's Food Cake Mix
4 Scant TBSP Natural Cocoa
1/2 Cup Oil
1 1/3 Cups BUTTERMILK
1 Tsp Vanilla
3 LARGE Eggs
PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING
2 Cups (240 Grams) Sifted Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup (8 TBSP) Softened Butter, Salted
4 TBSP Milk, Half n Half, or Heavy Cream
2 Tsp Vanilla
In a large bowl, blend cake ingredients together by hand or with hand mixer.
Beat for 2 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees for 22 - 28 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. My cake is usually done in 25 minutes.
