- 1 kg sugar

**Instructions:**
1. **Prepare the Carrots:**
- Wash, peel, and cut the carrots into uniform pieces, either round slices or sticks.
2. **Blanch the Carrots:**
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the carrot pieces and blanch them for about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
3. **Prepare the Sugar Syrup:**
- In the same pot, combine 1 liter of water and 1 kg of sugar. Add the green cardamom pods. Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
4. **Cook the Carrots in Syrup:**
- Add the blanched carrots to the boiling sugar syrup. Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the carrots become translucent and the syrup reaches a one-string consistency. This may take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
5. **Add Lemon Juice:**
- Once the desired consistency is achieved, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to prevent crystallization. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
6. **Cool and Store:**
- Remove from heat and allow the Gajar ka Murabba to cool completely. Transfer to sterilized jars and store in a cool, dry place.
