Plant adds new location and jobs

A Northern Michigan manufacturer is getting a new facility and bringing 15 new jobs to the region thanks to a state grant. Aster Brands makes, forms and molds for the concrete industry in Charlevoix. The Company was considering a move to Florida but was given a $750,000 grant from the Michigan Strategic Fund for a new facility. The new consolidated plant will open in Harbor Springs by fall.
