Trump mocks Taylor Swift after their Super Bowl appearances

President Trump appeared to mock Taylor Swift after he was met with cheers and she with jeers at the Super Bowl.

Trump, the first sitting president to attend the biggest night in American sport, arrived at the Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday with an entourage that included his daughter Ivanka to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

The crowd roared as he walked onto the field before kick-off and waved into the stands. More cheers came minutes later as the camera panned to him holding a salute during the national anthem.

After departing at half-time, Trump took to his Truth Social account to compare the crowd’s reaction to him with its reaction to Swift, the pop star who has criticised him repeatedly and endorsed his rival Kamala Harris in last year’s election.
