Home Burns Down While Owner on Vacation, INDIAN SPRINGS, February 10, 2025 - Sometime around midnight on February 10, 2025, a call was placed to the Polk County Sheriff's Office in reference to a house fire in Indian Springs Subdivision. Firemen from Indian Springs arrived at 382 Fagan to find the house engulfed in flames. Backup from Livingston, Segno, Alabama Coushatta and Woodville were dispatched to assist. The owner of the house, Jessica Harrell was away on vaction. It is not known to PolkCountyToday.com whether Mrs. Harrell had homeowners insurance or not. Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office Corporal Adam McDowell and Deputies Albert Richard and Devon Franz initiated a preliminary investigation into the possible cause of the fire (at time of press, the cause is still unknown). There were no reported injuries in this incident.
