Hawk recovering after getting stuck in truck

A red-shouldered hawk in on the road to recovery after amazingly surviving an unexpected journey. The hawk sustained a broken wing in the ordeal and will spend the next 6-8 weeks at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel. According to CROW, on Saturday, the hawk was struck by a truck that was driving along the Alligator Alley section of I-75 across the Everglades.
