Man Spends $100,000 To Look Like A K-Pop Star

A Caucasian man has spent over £75,000 on surgeries to look like his Korean boy band idol. Oli London first discovered K-pop boy band BTS when he was living in Korea in 2013. , K-pop is a popular genre of music from Korea, and BTS is currently one of the most famous K-pop bands in the world. The Londoner is particularly infatuated with the lead vocalist from the band, Jimin, and he has strived to look like his idol for five years.

K-Pop is a genre of music from South Korea, Oli’s idol is Jimin is the lead singer of the popular group BTS. They are one the most famous K-Pop bands in the world.

“ BTS debuted in 2013 and I was actually living in Korea at the time. So I was just amazed by all of them, they were perfect. Jimin is the lead vocalist. This is his current hairstyle at the moment, so I replicated it. I want to be him but I also have a crush on him. Like, to be honest, all K-Pop stars are so beautiful,” says Oli London.

Not only that he looks like a K-Pop star he also dresses like one too. He has a lot of expensive shoes just like the boys from BTS wear and all the same brands too.

Oli was always insecure about his look because he had a lot of acne when he was in school. He also had a very big nose and that’s how he made up his mind to go through all these changes. Now after all his surgeries he really doesn’t like looking at an old picture of him.

He has also made some surgeries on his body, not only on his face. He had removed all the fatty from his chest and he still has the scars. And on his face, he has made a blepharoplasty which is basically work on the eyelids, four rhinoplasties, angle reduction which is basically a jawline surgery and also a silicon chin implants.

And how much did that cost him? About 75.000 pounds in total just on the procedures. And that does not stop there. He wants to have more surgeries and look even more like him.

Now, he wants to change the shape of his eyes to look more like his idol Jimin. He said: "Well I am not exactly changing my race, I’m not saying I want to be Asian as such, however, I want to look like a K-pop star and they happen to be Korean.

"I just find them incredibly beautiful. I know I am always going to be Caucasian, I’m always going be British but I would like to look as close as possible to Korean pop stars and Jimin”. However, one of Oli’s friends Stephanie Jackson is concerned about the 28-year-old dreams. She said to Oli: "So the thing is if you look like the Korean pop star you are not going to look like yourself. That’s what I worry about.” But, Oli's dream is not to look like a normal person. He wants to look like a K-Pop doll.
