In the Sunnah, several hadiths mention the virtues of reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday. It was narrated from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he said: "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the sky, which will illuminate for him on the Day of Judgment, and his sins between the two Fridays will be forgiven."
