Bazelon: ‘We’re Seeing Real Concern’ from FBI’s Jan. 6 Investigators Over Trump’s Intentions

MELBER: “What are we seeing in federal law enforcement, and what does it mean for Bondi to say under oath, no enemies list and then blatantly announce what seemed like very targeted probes?”
BAZELON: “Right. That’s a great question. I think we’re seeing real concern among the rank and file of the FBI reflected in this lawsuit and more broadly, in a lot of the reporting in this area. And it’s pretty surprising to see them take a role. These are known as people who go by the book, who are conservative small C, often also conservative politically. And they’re really concerned about what this list means, how it’s going to affect their lives, and what comes next.”
