Vin Diesel has teased the return of a major player from the franchise’s early days in Fast & Furious 11 — and it’ll be the latest in a long line of resurrections. Fast 11 is planned to be the final film in the Fast & Furious saga, and it’ll be released on an as-yet-unannounced date in 2026. Louis Leterrier is back in the director’s chair and the sequel is said to be a return to the series’ roots, with a streamlined story focused on a single mission.

The Fast & Furious franchise has become notorious for bringing characters back from the dead, even when they died under circumstances that would be impossible to survive. Letty was killed off before being revealed to be alive in Fast Five. Han was killed off before being revealed to be alive in F9. Gisele was killed off before being revealed to be alive in Fast X. Fast & Furious’ character deaths are less definitive than superheroes in comic books — and now, it looks like there’s going to be another resurrection.
