I live in Boulder county Colorado as a second generation Cherokee native of Colorado. I have learned the hard way how corrupt the local governments are especially Boulder County. I ran a small TV station in the city of Boulder as Senior Producer. Between myself and the station manager we opened it up for public involvement. This was the year 2000 and we converted everything to digital for four years strong. Anyone could walk in and voice their opinion. Ninety percent of opinions were against the way Boulder way being run and the lack of transparency. We started to get threats from the city government to put a curb on people's opinion. Then we started to get threats from the city of being shut down. Our station was funded from the cities cable franchise along with the government channel. To keep things short the city shut us down and converted the money over to the government channel so they could tell everyone how wonderful they were. If I voice my opinion locally about Boulder or county on line, it ends up getting removed. Now Boulder County has made the DMV off limits by all the mask waring idiots to the public unless you make an appointment. Everyone is required to use machines to get their vehicle plates renewed. I have yet to ever have any of those machines work. They are always broke down, so much so that the city of Boulder removed the one that was in their building so they didn't have to deal with it. Yet the public has to deal with it. It's endless around here.
