Deep State/CIA penetration in Serbia reached even the Holy Synod of our Serbian Orthodox Church, where pro-US bishops accused of celibacy violations ousted Bishop Artemije over his refusal to accept NATO’s theft of Kosovo to gift it to CIA-backed drug smugglers that even the US State Department had designated as terrorists. Trump and Musk must clean America’s Augean Stables and return Serbia’s Christian heartland of Kosovo & Metohija to its faithful.

Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is calling for the Trump administration to go further: she wants them to expose the CIA’s connections in our media.
“So we know now that USAID was funding so many news outlets to include the BBC,” Luna stated Thursday, referring to recent revelations the federal agency funneled money to numerous media organizations.
“So I want to remind people: Remember that Project Mockingbird, that was declassified was actually a CIA op during the Cold War to actually use media to influence people to include the American people. So are we surprised that USAID, which is also doing a lot of the dirty work for the intelligence agencies, was caught red-handed funding massive propaganda outlets, not just in the United States but across the world? No, we’re not surprised at all.”
Former Washington Post journalist Carl Bernstein explained in a 1977 Rolling Stone article that some of the Operation Mockingbird journalists working with the CIA “were Pulitzer Prize winners, distinguished reporters who considered themselves ambassadors-without-portfolio for their country.”
He wrote, “Most were less exalted: foreign correspondents who found that their association with the Agency helped their work; stringers and freelancers who were as interested it the derring-do of the spy business as in filing articles, and, the smallest category, full-time CIA employees masquerading as journalists abroad,” he added.
As the Church Committee hearings in 1975 threatened to expose the CIA’s controversial methods, former CIA directors William Colby and George H.W. Bush “persuaded the committee to restrict its inquiry into the matter and to deliberately misrepresent the actual scope of the activities in its final report,” Bernstein wrote.
It’s a shame no one in the Democratic Party is speaking this way about our Mockingbird media. Either way, I support her call for more transparency.
