Initially, I’d admired a flowering tree. But then, I noticed tiny jewels of life flitting among the branches — Japanese White-eyes, darting between blossoms, sipping nectar with delicate grace. Their movements were a living poem, a dream unfolding, utterly oblivious to my presence. I held my breath, moving with slow reverence, careful not to disturb this fragile ballet.
