James O'Keefe: "All of you derive your power from the consent of the governed, so that consent cannot be fabricated. And this is what has happened here and what I have testified about—the battering rams, the handcuffs, going through notebooks to identify sources.

There are rules. There are federal criminal procedural rules, the Privacy Protection Act, and the Attorney General’s own memorandums. They simply violated them.

So that freedom to disclose information must exist. And there must be some standard. It is the government’s responsibility if they are going to raid a journalist’s home.

Once again, I return to this concept that there must be a clear and compelling standard. It cannot simply be that they need to review your anonymous sources so that you can prove your innocence to them. That has to change."
