Gifting Oklahoma Tax Dollars With Representative Jay Steagall

Governor Stitt - in his 2025 State of the State address - claims that he would like to spend 1.4 billion dollars less on state government and cut Oklahoma's income tax rate. These are laudable goals, but with the Governor's Department of Commerce spending millions and millions of taxpayer dollars to prop up businesses like Canoo - which, after a very rocky start, recently failed into bankruptcy - how on earth will these billions in saving materialize.
