When Junior the red and white Border Collie is given a new toy football from his owner to celebrate the beginning of football season, he absolutely refuses to touch it! His reaction to the new toy is hilarious as he turns his head away each and every time it is handed to him. All they want to do is play a game of football during the game’s halftime, but the dog is not interested whatsoever. He won’t even come close to the ball, let alone run after it.

Watch the Border Collie hilariously turning away from the bright orange football every time his owner tries to get him to take it. He definitely wants nothing to do with it and no matter how many times it is handed to him, he turns away in disgust. His eyes almost show fear of the toy, like he is scared it is going to hurt him. When it comes anywhere near the Border Collie, his eyes gets bigger and he leans away to avoid getting too close to it.

Maybe it is the smell of the football, being brand new and made of plastic, or maybe he really just doesn't like the color orange, but whatever it is, he is serious and will not take the ball from his owner! This poor pup just wants it away from him and fast. Even though this pooch is being given a new toy, we still cannot help feeling sorry for him.

Junior is an eight year old red and white Border Collie that is usually obsessed with playing with his toys. He has his very own toy basket full of teddy bears, rubber balls and dog bones that he plays with regularly, leaving them all over the house for his owner to pick up and put away. We hope that he eventually warmed up to the new toy and spent hours playing football with his owner out in the yard at half time. Maybe he just gave up on that ball and chose another one to enjoy with his owner!
