Woman shot in road rage incident on I-695

A woman is seriously injured after being shot during a road rage incident. Baltimore County Police say the incident happened on Sunday around noon on the inner loop of I-695 at the Harford Road exit. A white van and black Nissan sedan were reportedly involved in the initial road rage dispute when a third vehicle, a Subaru Outback attempted to pass. An occupant of the black Nissan then shot the driver of the Subaru, a 58-year-old female. Police shut down the inner loop following the shooting, and reopened the lanes just after 3:30 p.m. Officials are continuing to search for both the van and Nissan. The van, is believed to be a work style model with no rear windows. Police consider the vans occupant(s) to be a direct witness to the incident. Investigators are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call detectives at 410-307-2020.
