Black Skimmer Babies Are Tough

Black Skimmer babies are tough and can take a lot of abuse, but I also remind people, that a bird's beak is their hand. In other words, the video might look cruel, but the parent is just herding its chick back to the scrape (nest) where it will be safe from other adults and predators like Gulls.
