Since each animal metabolizes medications differently, how the pet will react is hard to predict. In some cats, the anesthesia wears off very quickly and easily, in a matter of few hours, while others seem drugged for days. Dani seems to be doing fine and the effects of anesthesia are already fading away, however, she can’t still take control over the movements of her tongue. Either her tongue feels numb from the drug or it is just her involuntary reflex to keep the tongue the way it is.

During the video, neither once does she puts her tongue inside. Maybe it is really helpful if she keeps it out because the fresh air streaming through it feels good and it brings her relief.
