Subversive Symbolism Part 1

What is meant by Subversive Symbolism?
Symbolism is a wordless language rooted in form, archetype, colour, and vibration. Symbols bypass the conscious mind and speak to us at a subconscious level. Therefore, it becomes important to understand things put into the deeper recesses of the human psyche. We can understand the intended message once we become literate about these symbols and choose whether to take or reject them at a conscious level. Until we become conscious of what symbols mean and how they are used in specific ways to elicit and manipulate our behaviour, then we are powerless to protect ourselves against those who may wish to use symbolism as a mechanism of suggestion and mind control.
