The stunning announcement by President Trump of the US "owning" Gaza and removing "all of them" has many of those of us who have supported him through thick and thin questioning our own judgment. THIS IS INSANE! He spoke of moving them to new residences that are so nice, they would not want to return, which ignores the most basic principle of real estate: "Location; location; location!", where, in this case you are talking about the homeland of the Palestinian people and treating this as though it were a conventional housing problem! I AM DUMBFOUNDED! Russ made a great point about "the salami issues" like DEI and men out of women's sports, but here we are confronted with perhaps the most controversial and bizarre proposal to have been made by a President of the United States during our history. Dropping USAID has sent Democrats into a tailspin, since 97% of its political funding has gone to them.But, as Joachim and Russ observe, this is cutting off the grift by one party to benefit the other. STUNNING STUFF!
