I spent a lot of time praying in preparation for this evening. The Lord has continually led me back to this one question. “Who are you trying to impress?” What a good question… what a loaded question… I’ve been asking myself this question for a month now. My initial reaction was, I’m trying to impress you, Lord! But I no longer think that’s the right answer… And as things usually go with seeking the Lord first in my life, I’m brought to a point where I have to reassess my understanding of literally everything.

So, first things first, I listened to the Lord and went to the scripture.
