While the Virginia Court of Appeals in Richmond awaits opening briefs from the Alexandria prosecutor, on a matter brought in mandamus to compel a grand jury investigation into credible allegations connecting several prominent Democrats at the national level, from Congressman Don Beyer, Jr. and Senator Tim Kaine to former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to a bribe offer to a congressional candidate to lure him into withdrawing from a bid for Congress in 2016, the legislator who had once boasted of his pride that his four children had rejected God, church and religion has developed a novel way to appear effective in leadership, leading a vigil service for the victims of the worst aviation accident since 2009. And, meanwhile, one at least potential candidate for just a seat on the school board in Arlington is elevating his calls for action all the way to the President.
