Let's Talk Frankly About The Minimum Wage & Minimum Wages Jobs

There has been a movement by a bunch of lazy ass holes to whine about min wage and just expect to be paid well, all while offering skills & abilities are are below mediocrity.

Here's an idea: if you want more money, put the effort in and make the changes to get where you want to be! Don't be lazy and worthless and settle for the first opportunity you get! Get out there and get a good job! Work overtime! Earn promotions! Work two jobs if you need to! I'm a guy with 3 college degrees, I'm Chief Engineer and Pricing Analyst at my company but even I work 2 jobs so I can have extra!

DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO BETTER YOUR LIFE INSTEAD OF BEING LAZY AND THINKING A STARTER JOB WILL LEAVE YOU FINANCIALLY SET FOR LIFE!!!

Also, if you stop and think for a second, raising minimum wage is NOT good for many economic reasons.

1, it causes inflation. Companies have to pay more to their employees, which means they'll increase prices because the owners aren't looking to lose money due to increased labor costs. Just look at fast food restaurants and how dollar menus are no longer a thing!

2, it leads to more automation. Since robots and other automation (self-checkout, etc) work 24 hours and for free (other than energy costs), companies will look to switching to them instead of staffing humans. So, when min. wage is $20 an hour, what difference does it make when you don't have a job anyways??

3, it minimizes others who actually have put effort into their lives. Let's take someone who has a good job and makes $40 an hour, when min wage was $10. That's 4 times more than min, which means he is a high value individual and has put in the time and effort to get to that status. But now let's say min wage is $20 an hour, well now $40 is only double. In order to maintain that 4x discrepancy, that guy would need to be making $80 an hour, which I doubt his company would boost him to. So now his skills and effort are worth less, which isn't right or fair. As a min wage worker, you get paid low because you don't have skills and didn't put effort into your life.
