Ninja Gaiden RETURNS to Set the Gaming Industry Straight!

Team Ninja and PlatinumGames reviving the Ninja Gaiden franchise with the Fourth canonical mainline installment is a much needed breath of fresh air from the AAA industry. Uncompromising on difficulty and willing to introduce a new male protagonist that will not undermine the legendary character that came before him. Ryu Hayabusa is a seminal character in gaming, so to see his legacy live on bestows good will on the success of Ninja Gaiden 4.

Team Ninja has already shown their quality with the remaster of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, being essentially untouched from its 2008 release. A couple visual tweaks and odd trailer omissions notwithstanding, it's a pitch perfect remake that could set the standard for all remakes going forward. It's been a hit on Steam since getting shadow dropped at the end of the Xbox conference in January, so you would think the rest of the industry might learn a thing or two...
