Summary: Lent, Paczki Day, Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday or Tiu's day, the war god's day), Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday are all connected to or contaminated by Easter, the pagan goddess of Spring, and no true Christian should have anything to do with them.

The work, "The Two Babylons" by historian Alexander Hislop, states that, "among the Pagans this Lent seems to have been an indispensable preliminary to the great annual festival in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Tammus which was celebrated by alternate weeping and rejoicing".

God says Jesus Christ is our Passover, and it is that Festival which Christians are to keep, not the Festival of Easter which the Apostate Church replaced Passover with:
