Built a platform on top of an inflatable raft with an 840 lb capacity, added a 30lb trolling motor and took off on the river on an overnight trip. Worked wonderfully and I'm sad I hadn't been using this setup so far, but it is a learning adventure as I work towards a better.... boat!
